1934 Terraplane Phaeton. One of only two remaining in the world, I'm told.
The 'gangster' is the owner, Bob, who makes a spare buck driving the condemned to lives of wedded torment. He was such a friendly chap so I gave him a gangster grimace on Photoshop. All he needs is a violin case!
Ever since taking this I've had T-Rex's Children of the Revolution playing in my mental jukebox: "I drive a Rolls Royce / cos it's good for my voice/ I drive a Terraplane/ in the pourin' rain / but you won't fool the children of the revolution/ No Way!"
